North London outfit Tottenham Hotspur have finished third in this season's Audi Cup. In Wednesday evening's play-off between the losers of the semi-finals, the Premier League club beat AC Milan 2-0 with an eighth-minute Nacer Chadli thunderbolt and a 71st-minute Tom Carroll effort.

All-clear for Kimmich

The injury sustained by FCB newcomer Joshua Kimmich in the Audi Cup semi-final on Tuesday has turned out not to be serious. The 20-year-old has minor bruising to the thigh and will only be forced to sit out training for a couple of days. The summer signing from RB Leipzig made his Allianz Arena debut against AC Milan on Tuesday but had to be substituted after 21 minutes. The midfielder is definitely out of Wednesday evening's final against Real Madrid.
