Benatia could face injury lay-off

Mehdi Benatia's appearance for Bayern at Hoffenheim came to an abrupt end after the defender played a pass and suddenly felt a twinge in his right thigh. The Morocco captain was forced from the field with injury and was replaced by Rafinha after 36 minutes. The extent of the damage was not yet clear when the FCB squad left Sinsheim for home. Bayern sporting director Matthias Sammer said he feared the worst: "It won't just be a case of two or three days out."
