Former Bayern coach Dettmar Cramer died last Thursday. Prior to kick-off in the Bundesliga meeting between the reigning champions and VfL Wolfsburg at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday evening, Cramer will be honoured with a minute’s silence. Furthermore, and as for the trip to Darmstadt last Saturday, the FC Bayern players will wear black armbands. Visitors to the FCB Erlebniswelt may currently add their names to a book of condolence for Cramer.
Official farewell to Dante
A large bouquet of flowers will also be presented before the Wolfsburg clash. Former Bayern man Dante, who left the club just over three weeks ago, will receive an official thank-you and farewell. In his three years at the club, the Brazilian scored five goals in 133 appearances, winning the championship three times, the DFB Cup twice and the Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.
Quote of the day
“My players are very professional. I trust them. It would be their problem. If your legs are tired, you don’t play well, and if they don’t play well, they’re not in the team for the next game. I’m not their father, I’m their coach – and obviously not their mother either. I’m not there to control them.”
