FCB pro Kingsley Coman has been called up to the senior France squad for the first time, national coach Didier Deschamps announced on Thursday afternoon. "His potential is extraordinary," Deschamps said in praise of the 19-year-old forward. Coman could be up against some of his Bavarian team-mates: Les Bleus host world champions Germany in Paris on 13 November before crossing swords with England at Wembley on 17 November. Besides his strong performances for the Reds, Coman has also excelled with the France U-21s.

Large crowd at Säbener Strasse

The atmosphere at the Säbener Strasse training ground was upbeat after the 5-1 gala against Arsenal, as thousands of fans came to watch the Reds train in the morning. The players were focused on the next Bundesliga challenge: FCB encounter Stuttgart at the Allianz Arena on Saturday at 15.30 CET. "I think it'll be an interesting game, Stuttgart won't be so defensive. It's not their style of play," Jérôme Boateng predicted. The final training session for the German record champions is on Friday, this time behind closed doors.

Robben rated doubtful for Oranje

Shortly before the last international break of the year Arjen Robben has left open the question of whether he would return to the Netherlands squad. "We have to carefully consider what's most reasonable," the FCB winger said on Dutch TV, "the primary goal is to stay fit until the Christmas break. I don't know whether Oranje fit in." The Dutch play friendlies against Wales on 13 November and Germany on 17 November. The Dutchman sustained a muscular injury in the Euro 2016 qualifier against Iceland in September. It was only two weeks ago that he returned to the FCB squad in the 4-0 victory over Köln.

Stuttgart's Kostic fit

VfB Stuttgart can count on Filip Kostic in the match against FC Bayern. After being sidelined for several weeks with injury the forward will return to the squad, announced Stuttgart coach Alexander Zorniger on Thursday. He did not reveal whether Kostic would make the starting line-up on Saturday.
