Germany’s last two internationals of the year will feature three Bayern pros. As expected head coach Joachim Löw has called up Manuel Neuer, Jérôme Boateng and Thomas Müller for friendlies against France in Paris on Friday 13 November at 21.00 CET and against the Netherlands in Hannover four days later at 20.45. Mario Götze misses out due to injury. On Monday Löw's troops meet in Munich, where they will prepare for the match until departing for the French capital on Thursday.
Robben returns to Oranje
The world champions from Munich could well go head-to-head with their team-mate Arjen Robben in Hannover, because the FCB winger is in the Netherlands squad for the friendly against Germany. The 31-year-old initially left open the question of whether he would return to national team duty, because he only made his comeback for FCB two weeks ago in the 4-0 victory over Köln.
Thiago in Spain squad
The European champions can count on Thiago again. Head coach Vicente del Bosque has called up the midfielder for his 24-man squad. In the last two internationals of the year Spain entertain England in Alicante on 13 November and face Belgium in Brussels on 17 November. After a long injury lay-off Thiago returned to La Roja three weeks ago, turning in a convincing display in the 1-0 victory over Ukraine.
