A few days before Christmas the German Football League (DFL) and the German FA (DFB) published the exact dates for Bundesliga Matchdays 21 through 25 and the DFB Cup quarter-finals. The German record champions play away to VfL Bochum in the last eight on 10 February at 20.30 CET. Four days later they travel to face Augsburg on Sunday 14 February. Their home match against Darmstadt takes place on 20 February at 15.30, the match away to Wolfsburg is on 27 February at 15.30, the home match against Mainz is on 2 March at 20.00 and the top clash away to Borussia Dortmund on 5 March when the kick-off is at 18.30 CET.
Herrlich new Regensburg coach
Heiko Herrlich, former U-17 coach at FC Bayern, is the new coach of fourth division Jahn Regensburg. The 44-year-old former Bundesliga top scorer signed a contract until the end of the season. If Regensburg gain promotion to the third division the contract with the five-time Germany international will be automatically extended.
