FC Bayern midfielder Gianluca Gaudino is seeking a new challenge with FC St. Gallen. The 19-year-old joins the Swiss top flight outfit on an 18-month loan, after which he will return to Munich.
Gaudino has made eight Bundesliga appearances for Germany’s biggest club, with one outing apiece in the Champions League and DFB Cup, all in the 2014/15 campaign. This season, the skilled midfielder has featured 19 times for FCB II in the fourth-tier Bavarian Regional League and once in the UEFA Youth League.
Gaudino joined Bayern in 2004 and represented the club at every youth level. He signed professional forms with the Reds in December 2014. His contract runs until 30 June 2018.
