Bangkok, 13th January 2016: FC Bayern Munich today announced its first regional partnership in Thailand with one of the country’s largest sugar companies Wangkanai. The cooperation covers brand image rights and Wangkanai will also become the presenting partner of the FC Bayern Youth Cup in Thailand. The tournament, which has been carried out in Thailand already in 2014 and 2015, will now be broadcast into homes across Thailand in a 15-episode TV series.

FC Bayern Youth Cup is the international youth football series of FC Bayern and several of its sponsors, carried out in the last years in countries like Thailand, China, Japan, India, USA, Brazil, Austria, Italy, Russia and Germany. Every year in May, the best 10 players of the respective national event represent their country at the FC Bayern Youth Cup World Final in Munich in the world-famous Allianz Arena.
