The Bayern playing and coaching staff returned to Munich from Dortmund on Sunday afternoon. Prior to the flight home, the starting XI from the previous day’s goalless draw with Borussia completed a regeneration session at Kaiserau sports academy. Pep Guardiola supervised the rest of the players in a normal training workout on one of the academy’s grass pitches. The next training session in Munich is scheduled for Tuesday at 11.00 CET, to which spectators are welcome.
Autograph signing with Boateng
Visitors to the FC Bayern Erlebniswelt were treated to an up close and personal view of a world champion on Sunday lunchtime, as Jérôme Boateng visited the club museum for an autograph signing session. “Meeting our fans here is terrific. I’m overwhelmed,” said the centre-back, who is currently sidelined with injury and took questions about his recovery: “I have to be patient, and I’m not very good at that. My target is to be playing again in April.”
