Two records for FCB

FC Bayern won their tenth consecutive Champions League home match on Wednesday evening. The German record champions set a new best mark by beating Juventus 4-2 after extra-time. Only Barcelona can match this as they also posted their tenth home victory in a row on Wednesday, downing Arsenal 3-1. The Bavarians only had one winning streak that was even longer, 21 consecutive victories on home soil in the European Cup between 1969 and 1981. Moreover, Bayern equalled another record: 18 goals scored in the first four CL home matches, a total only matched by Olympique Lyon in the 2004/05 season.
