Two FC Bayern pros have made the Champions League squad of the season. Manuel Neuer and Robert Lewandowski are in the 18-man roster picked by UEFA's technical observer team featuring the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson and Thomas Schaaf. The two finalists Real and Atlético Madrid boast the most players with six each. FC Barcelona provide three players and Paris St. Germain one. Neuer “took our breath away with his save from Arsenal's Theo Walcott during the group stage, eventually conceding just nine goals in 11 games,” according to UEFA. “A group stage hat-trick against Dinamo Zagreb set the tone, with nine goals in 12 games being a mark of Lewandowski's overall class,” the jury commented, explaining the inclusion of the Poland striker.
