France turned in an impressive display in Saturday's dress rehearsal for the Euro 2016. The hosts of the tournament with Bayern winger Kingsley Coman in the starting line-up breezed past Scotland 3-0. Two-goal Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny wrapped things up before the break. Coman was substituted at half-time, the second 45 minutes had no impact on the scoreline. Les Bleus contest the Euro opener against Romania in Paris on 10 June at 21.00 CET. Their other opponents in Group A are Albania and Switzerland.
Alaba & Co lose final test
David Alaba and his Austrian compatriots had a less successful evening. They lost 2-0 to the Netherlands despite for the most part dominating the meeting. Vincent Janssen and Georginio Wijnaldum scored for the hosts at Vienna's Ernst Happel Stadium. The Dutchmen, who have failed to qualify for the Euro finals, were without the injured Arjen Robben. Alaba played the full 90 minutes. Austria take on Hungary in Bordeaux on 14 June at 18.00 CET before crossing swords with Portugal and Iceland in Group F.
