Vidal subbed off with knock
In the USA, holders Chile lost their dress rehearsal for the Copa America after Arturo Vidal and his team-mates fell 1-0 to Mexico in San Diego. The 62,000 crowd saw Bayer Leverkusen's Javier Hernandez score the match-winner. Vidal was replaced with a minor hamstring problem with a quarter-hour to go. Chile head coach Juan Antonio Pizzi sounded the all-clear after the final whistle, referring to the substitution as a precaution: “Vidal has no problems. He will be available for selection in our first Copa America match,” Pizzi commented.
