France and Coman through to last four
World champions Germany take on hosts France in the EURO 2016 semi-finals. Les Bleus beat Iceland 5-2 in Sunday's quarter-final tie in Saint-Denis. The 76,833 crowd at Stade de France saw two-goal Olivier Giroud, Paul Pogba, Dimitri Payet and leading EURO scorer Antoine Griezmann net for France in their second-biggest victory in a European championship. Kolbeinn Sigthórsson and Birki Bjarnason scored for battling outsiders Iceland, who have surprised the footballing world by making it to the last eight. Bayern pro Kingsley Coman came on in the closing stages. Germany and France cross swords in Marseille on Thursday at 21.00 CET.
