Two players of FC Bayern's official youth development partner Global Premium Soccer (GPS) were in for a very special week. The two 12-year-olds Luke and Jack visited the Säbener Strasse. FCB youth coaches picked the two talents for a trip to Munich as part of the FC Bayern ID Programme. Luke's home club is GPS Florida, Jack plays for GPS Massachusetts.
The two youngsters completed four training sessions with the Bayern U-14s. Besides working out Luke and Jack enjoyed a diverse supporting programme. They visited both the Olympic Stadium and the Allianz Arena, grasping the difference between an old stadium and a modern arena. A visit to Wednesday's friendly against Manchester City and a meet and greet with Julian Green were special highlights.
“I'm very proud to have players of this quality in our ID programme. Luke and Jack did very well in training with the U-14s. We'll continue to watch their development with great interest, and we'll see them soon,” commented Sebastian Dremmler, who picked the two talents in the course of the FC Bayern ID Programme.
