Arturo Vidal opened the scoring before the hour mark in Bayern's 2-0 victory in the Supercup final against Borussia Dortmund. However, the Chilean had to be replaced with a knock 13 minutes after his goal. On Monday morning the club's medical unit sounded the all-clear: Vidal has not sustained a major injury and is expected to resume training on Wednesday.

Training in Dortmund

On Monday the Bayern pros completed a training session in Dortmund before returning to Munich. The starting eleven mainly completed regeneration exercises at the team hotel, whereas the subs were in for a regular session at Kaiserau sports academy.

Running drills in Munich

With most of the Bayern pros still in the Ruhr valley, the injured players worked up a sweat at the Säbener Strasse HQ. Jérôme Boateng, Arjen Robben, Holger Badstuber, Douglas Costa and new signing Renato Sanches all performed running drills on Monday morning.
