Two days before the Champions League game against PSV Eindhoven, Carlo Ancelotti welcomed two players back to training. Douglas Costa resumed full training with the team, while Javi Martínez participated in large parts. Both have missed the last couple of weeks through injury. Robert Lewandowski, who picked up a knock on international duty, also declared himself “100 percent fit. I feel good,” said the Pole, who is already looking forward to the encounter with the Dutch champions. “All we are thinking about is three points.”

Scottish referee against Eindhoven

William Collum is the referee for Wednesday evening’s Champions League game at home to PSV Eindhoven. FC Bayern have only had good experiences with the 37 year-old teacher from Motherwell in Scotland, winning all three of the previous matches that he has officiated, the most recent of which was the 7-0 victory against Shakhtar Donetsk in March 2015.
