FC Bayern Munich has teamed up with Dugout, the new & innovative digital football platform. That was announced today at the “Leaders’ Conference” in London. In a world first, Dugout will provide football fans with one distinct area to connect with their favorite clubs and players away from the noise of multiple social media and news sites. The new platform takes the fans of FC Bayern Munich off pitch & behind the scenes at Germany’s record champions.
Set to go live in November, Dugout will become the ultimate destination for fans searching for original off pitch, skills and lifestyle content, giving them unrivalled access to their favourite teams and players.
Joining FC Bayern are fellow clubs from Europe’s top leagues including Arsenal FC, Chelsea FC, Manchester City FC, Liverpool FC, Paris St. Germain, FC Barcelona, AC Milan and Juventus plus many more across Europe and the world as well as leading players. Each club and player will have a dedicated profile, where fans are able to personalize their Dugout experience based on the clubs and players they follow.
Dugout will be free to access, and will host exclusive content created by the clubs and players 24 hours before it is seen anywhere else, making it the primary source for fans to get exclusive news on the clubs and players they love.
In addition to clubs and players, Dugout will also give leading football influencers, publishers and legends their own profile pages, and will collaborate in partnership with Dugout to produce exclusive “Made for Dugout” content.
"We are looking forward to the start of Dugout. This new platform enables our fans to follow us closely and experience what happens off pitch & behind the scenes at Bayern Munich," Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Executive Board Chairman of the FC Bayern München AG, explains. "Additionally, you can find out anything about other European clubs and many top players. The content is provided in eight different languages and thus provides our fans all over the world with a great service."
Dugout President and Co-Founder, Elliot Richardson, commented: “We are delighted to announce the launch of Dugout and with it, some incredibly exciting partnerships with the best clubs and players from around the world. Football fans are hungry to discover the latest news and content from the game they love. With Dugout, we’ve created a destination that will house the best off pitch & behind the scenes content from the biggest teams and players, who want to continue to improve their connection to their global fan bases"
