On the first Sunday in Advent the FC Bayern players, coaching staff and officials took their traditional annual tour to visit a number of fan clubs, greeted by smiling faces.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti was drawn by lot to visit the "Ahrntal" fan club in South Tyrol. Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was on tour to Lower Bavaria to see "Vilshofen Rot-Weiß," whereas newly-elected president Uli Hoeneß visited "Röslau e.V." in Wunsiedel.

The pros too were on the road. New signing Renato Sanches had the longest journey as he visited "Treue Bazis Seligenstadt/Mainhausen" in Hesse. Arjen Robben was greeted by "Stern des Südens" played by a local brass-band, visiting "Alto Bavaria" in Erdweg.

World champion Jérôme Boateng took to the Allgäu region to see the "Babenhausen" fan club and was greeted noisily. Captain Philipp Lahm had the honour to enter his name in the visitors' book in Kastl in Upper Bavaria as he visited "De rodn Alztaler." Manuel Neuer stayed in Munich, greeted by smiling faces at "Rollwagerl '93 e.V."

Be it in Ravensburg (Juan Bernat), Waging am See (Thomas Müller), Dresden (Hermann Gerland) or Bad Ditzenbach (Holger Badstuber), the Reds handed out countless autographs, were available for questions from fans large and small and gave and received presents. The FC Bayern fan club visits were once again a memorable event for all fans of the German record champions.
