Rummenigge congratulates Gerd Müller

Happy birthday Gerd Müller! Der Bomber turned 71 on Thursday. Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge visited and congratulated the legend, who scored 533 goals in 585 appearances for FCB. Müller has been receiving professional treatment at a care home since February 2015, when it became known that he is ill with Alzheimer's disease. The former striker was delighted at Rummenigge's visit and the congratulations from the whole FC Bayern family.

Ribéry resumes squad programme

Two days before the top Bundesliga clash between TSG Hoffenheim and FC Bayern Franck Ribéry completed the squad programme for the first time after recovering from a thigh injury. Thiago and Douglas Costa took a breather on Thursday, pursuing individual programmes after warming up together.

Reopening of airport Fan Shop

The FCB Fan Shop at Munich airport reopens on Sunday 6 November. A diverse entertainment programme for the whole family starts at 11.30 CET, the official reopening with chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and FC Bayern players is at 13.00. Parking in car park P20 is free for five hours.

Special Erlebniswelt tour

There's another special event on Sunday when the FC Bayern Erlebniswelt stages "The history of FC Bayern to 1965." The 45-minute tour starts at 13.00 CET and provides special insights into the time from the club's foundation in 1900 through to the promotion to the Bundesliga in 1965.
