Boateng missed Tuesday’s Champions League match against Atletico Madrid due to a shoulder problem. Mats Hummels missed training on Thursday. The 27 year-old is suffering from a bout of gastroenteritis.
Neuer is Tie Wearer of the Year 2016
Manuel Neuer has picked up a very special award: The FC Bayern number one is the Tie Wearer of the Year 2016. "It's a great honour. Many thanks to the jury," said the World's Best Goalkeeper who sees the steel sculpture in the shape of a tie as standing "not just for style but also for personality." Neuer received the award on Thursday at Säbener Straße from Gerd Müller-Thomkins, the CEO of the German Fashion Institute (DMI). The DMI has presented the award since 1965 with previous winners including Willy Brandt, Roy Black, Günter Jauch and Hape Kerkeling.
