Hurdles in all sizes, posts, cones - and now the ball. After an eight-week injury lay-off Kingsley Coman is still working individually on an adjacent pitch at the Aspire Academy, but he is back on the ball in the closing stages of his rehab programme. "It's great to have my 'friend' at my feet again. I'm very happy," the 20-year-old told fcbayern.com.

Coman sustained a capsular tear in his left ankle and tore a ligament in his knee on international duty in November. He had sustained an ankle injury as early as August, which meant a four-week spell on the sidelines. "Just when I felt good again I picked up the next injury. It was difficult mentally. It wasn't an easy time," the winger revealed.

"My family and the club did everything to help me," Coman added: "I was allowed to go home to France for a few days, it helped. I worked hard following my return even if it wasn't easy. And now I've arrived at the end of the road, and I can laugh again." It is possible that Coman will resume parts of the squad programme in Doha.
