Franck Ribéry had to withdraw from training on Tuesday morning after pulling a muscle in his right thigh. The injury is set to keep the 33 year-old winger out of action for FC Bayern for two weeks.
Vidal steps up recovery
There was better news on Arturo Vidal. Having completed some parts of team training yesterday, the Chilean stepped up his workload in the freezing cold on Tuesday and is close to returning to action. Arjen Robben, who trained individually yesterday, also came through the entire session.
Individual training
Kingsley Coman, Xabi Alonso and Philipp Lahm were all missing from the session which lasted around 90 minutes. The trio trained individually in the performance centre.
