Day 6 - Sunday 8th January
RETURN OF THE DAY: After eight weeks out injured, Kingsley Coman took some part in team training, completing running and passing exercises with his teammates in the morning. After 40 minutes he then continued with his individual rehabilitation programme, including intensive sprints in the sand.
NUMBER OF THE DAY: 9 gruelling training sessions in five days in Doha. After Sunday's afternoon session, Carlo Ancelotti gave his players a half day free. Their next session will be on Monday afternoon.
AMBITION OF THE DAY: That came from two of the elder statesmen in the FCB squad. "I'm 33, I've won everything, but I'm still hungry for more," emphasised Franck Ribéry. And looking ahead to the Champions League, Philipp Lahm, also 33, said: "When you know what it's like to stand there and lift the trophy, you want to experience it again."
