This morning saw FC Bayern complete their final training session before the Champions League round of 16 first leg against Arsenal. After dropping out of yesterday's session shortly before the end, Xabi Alonso was back out on the field on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday evening's game at the Allianz Arena. The 35 year-old Spaniard came through the 75-minute session without any problems.
That means coach Carlo Ancelotti is only missing the recovering Jérôme Boateng and Franck Ribéry for the visit of the English side. Both continued their individual training on Tuesday and will not be fit in time to feature against the Gunners, but they could be available for the second leg in London on 7th March.
