
The FC Bayern GPS National Team Camp will be staged in Rock Hill (South Carolina) this weekend. The best 25 to 30 girls and boys born in 2000, 2001 and 2002 of FC Bayern's youth development partner Global Premier Soccer will participate in the camp. An FC Bayern youth coach will be on site and is already looking forward to the training sessions with the youngsters.
The boys born in 2001 and 2002 are in for a special highlight. Ten players will be picked to represent their country in the FC Bayern Youth Cup Final at the Allianz Arena on 21 May, when Team USA will face off with teams from India, China, Thailand, Singapore, Austria and Germany.
The National Team is the elite programme of the youth development cooperation with Global Premier Soccer. There are over 85,000 youth players involved in the programme, spread across 22 states and Canada. The best players of each state complete additional training sessions on a regular basis to be called up for the extended squad. The final squads will be nominated after consultation with the FC Bayern youth coaches.
