Philipp Lahm made his 103rd Champions League appearance for FC Bayern in Wednesday's 5-1 home victory over Arsenal, equalling Oliver Kahn's record in Europe's premier club competition. However, it will only be in a potential quarter-final that Lahm can surpass the Titan's mark owing to a one-match ban. However, the native Bavarian has already surpassed Paolo Maldini, John Terry and Gary Neville in the all-time rankings due to his seven CL appearances wearing VfB Stuttgart colours. Lahm is currently 16th in the all-time rankings on a total of 110 appearances. Oddly, Lahm has never scored a Champions League goal: also a record, albeit one he will probably not tell his grand-children...
