Carlo Ancelotti: "I'm pleased with the first 80 minutes because we had the game fully under control. All that was missing was a second goal. We had problems in the last ten minutes when Wolfsburg staged a last rally. It's very important that we're through to the quarter-finals."
Uli Hoeneß: "You can't fault the team's determination, although you can see the players don't have total confidence at the moment. You can't just flick a switch and turn it back on.
