On Monday afternoon the FC Bayern pros reported to the Säbener Strasse facility for a public training session, starting preparation for Saturday's Bundesliga home match against Augsburg. Mats Hummels, Joshua Kimmich and Thomas Müller have returned to Munich, but performed individual regeneration exercises, whereas Manuel Neuer resumed regular training. The World's Best Goalkeeper missed Germany's matches due to injury and took a breather last week, but gave it everything on Monday, working with goalkeeping coach Toni Topalovic. Neuer was not to be stopped even though a sprinkler head behind his goal was suddenly activated. Watched by numerous fans, the outfield players were in for an intense session too, performing demanding sprints besides exercises with the ball. The rest of the squad will return from national team duty in the next few days.

Besides the fans, two former FC Bayern pros and Champions League winners visited the Säbener Straße. Dante, who won the trophy at Wembley in 2013, used the international break for a private appointment in Munich and dropped by his former stomping ground. Paulo Sergio, who won the Champions League in 2001, stayed a little longer, watching his 'successors' work out.
