Carlo Ancelotti took three steps and blasted a shot into the bottom left corner of the net, leaving Tom Starke without a chance. The FCB head coach was pleased with his spot-kick, and he had more reasons to be happy on a rainy Easter Sunday.

Robert Lewandowski had just completed the full one-hour training session. One week after sustaining a bruised shoulder the Pole joined his team-mates in training, performing rondo drills and passing and shooting exercises without problems. "I'm fine. I'm very pleased I was able to take part in training today. Everything's okay," he told FC Bayern.tv in an interview following the session (more on Lewandowski later in the FC Bayern.tv News).

A total of nine players, including three youth players, worked out on the training ground. Mats Hummels (ankle injury) and Jérôme Boateng (thigh problem) had performed individual running drills beforehand. The rest of the squad performed regeneration exercises in the performance centre one day after the Bundesliga match against Leverkusen and two days before the Champions League encounter with Real Madrid.
