Thomas Müller is well on the way to recovery. Five days after sustaining an ankle injury in the home match against Augsburg the world champion continued his rehab programme on the training ground or, to be precise, in the sand. Wearing socks, Müller performed exercises on the beach volleyball court under the auspices of sports rehab coach Dr Andreas Schlumberger. Müller also worked on his balance on a beam. Manuel Neuer turned in an individual session in the performance centre after his foot operation.
Passing and playing
The rest of the squad worked with the ball on Thursday morning. The focus was on passing exercises and a practice match using small goals. Some of the pros watched their workload, taking to the performance centre earlier than others. Arturo Vidal turned in an indivdual session indoors.
Goal Fest for FCB Allstars
The FCB Allstars have made a good start to the new season. Captain Hans Pflügler & Co downed SAP Digital Heroes 15-4 on Wednesday. Raimond Aumann's troops turned in an impressive display, with Alexander Zickler and Tobias Schweinsteiger scoring four goals each at Dietmar-Hopp-Sportpark.
