A crucial decision has been taken in the run-up to Bayern's match away to Wolfsburg on Saturday. The Bundesliga table-toppers have exercised their option to sign Kingsley Coman from Juventus. The option would have expired at the end of April. The 20-year-old France international, who joined Bayern from Juventus on loan in August 2015, has extended his stay in Munich through 2020.
"Kingsley Coman is a crucial player for the future of our team, so we've decided to exercise the option," commented Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge: "Kingsley is a promising player with great potential. We're convinced he'll help us in the years to come."
