A number of Bayern players took up pre-season preparation on Monday, completing passing drills under Carlo Ancelotti's auspices. The FCB pros focused on controlling the ball, precision and timing. But one thing was clear after the training session: the ball and Corentin Tolisso are friends.
The new signing took to the Säbener Strasse training ground after his official unveiling, smoothly controlling the ball. Four of his new team-mates returned to the training ground after their holidays: Robert Lewandowski, Thiago, Rafinha and David Alaba. Arjen Robben worked individually in the sand. The Bayern quintet had completed the obligatory medical on Monday morning.
Sven Ulreich returned to the training ground on Monday after two months on the sidelines with an elbow injury. The 28-year-old completed gentle exercises along with fellow netminder Christian Früchtl. Jérôme Boateng is making progress too. The centre-back trained with his team-mates before working individually under the auspices of fitness coach Franceso Mauri on an adjacent pitch.
