On Saturday the traditional FC Bayern Charity Golf Cup took place for the 22nd time. One day after the Bundesliga opener, 80 participants braved driving rain, golfing for a good cause. Bayern president Uli Hoeneß, his predecessor Karl Hopfner, directors Jan-Christian Dreesen, Andreas Jung and Jörg Wacker, former pros like Manfred Bender and Michael Tarnat as well as members of the FCB family had fun at the Tegernseer Golf Club Bad Wiessee. The friends and sponsors raised a total of €50,000 of which the club will donate equal shares to FC Bayern Hilfe eV and the Franz Beckenbauer Foundation.
