Reaction to Hoffenheim v Bayern
Carlo Ancelotti: "It was a tough match. We tried a lot and created a number of chances. But we weren't 100 percent focused at times. We didn't have much space and tried to create it by switching play. It didn't work so well today. Things like this happen in football."
Manuel Neuer: "We started very well, we played very well and had a firm grip on Hoffenheim. We had some chances and should have been in front. We didn't defend ideally when we conceded the opener."
Julian Nagelsmann (1899 Hoffenheim coach): "We're glad we won. According to every single statistic we were inferior, except in terms of goals. We took the lead undeservedly and at an awkward point for Bayern. We were lucky when Lewandowski hit the bar. But we were hard-running, displayed lots of courage and won not completely undeservedly."
Mark Uth: "We made the most of the few chances we had. I saw André [Kramaric] taking the ball very quickly before the opener. I was able to control the ball and net, it was superb. It was an outstanding evening for us."
