Representatives of the Colombian Football League (División Mayor del Fútbol Colombiano, DIMAYOR) visited FC Bayern on Saturday. The delegation headed by president Jorge Fernando Perdomo paid a visit to the new FC Bayern Campus prior to the German record champions' Bundesliga match against RB Leipzig. The delegation then headed to the Allianz Arena, where they were welcomed by FC Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. The parties discussed FC Bayern's ambitions and goals in Colombia.

After the match the delegation met up with James Rodríguez. The captain of the Colombia national team had just crowned a strong display with the opener in Bayern's 2-0 victory over RB Leipzig.

On Thursday in Frankfurt the German Football League (DFL) and the DIMAYOR had agreed on a wide-ranging cooperation. In July FC Bayern coaches visited the Colombian capital Bogotá and oversaw training sessions as part of the Allianz Junior Football Camp. To the delight of the many Bayern fans in Bogotá mascot Berni was also present.
