The fans of FC Bayern Munich will get a number of chances to see their team at work in the coming days with three training sessions open to the public this week. Wednesday and Thursday at 11:00CEST and Friday at 10:30 are all free for the public to attend should you be in the Munich area. There will, however, not be many first-team players present with a number away on international duty.
FCB Oktoberfest celebrations with fans in New York
FC Bayern had something special planned for their fans in the USA during the Hertha Berlin game with the “Zum Schneider Oktoberfest – Munich on the East River” in collaboration with FOX in New York. With a Bavarian atmosphere and plenty of treats, almost 400 excited fans, fan club representatives from New York and Washington, mascot Berni and Raimond Aumann (head of fans and fan club support) were all joined by FOX presenters Kate Abdo and Eric Wynalda in traditional Lederhosen and Dirndl as they broadcast live from the tent.
