Boss Jupp Heynckes took him off as a precaution three days before the Champions League match away to Celtic. "It think it isn't so bad," Heynckes said after the final whistle. Lewandowski had doubled Bayern's lead shortly before leaving the pitch.
Celtic held to draw but equal club record
Three days before the Champions League encounter with FC Bayern, Celtic were held to a draw by Kilmarnock but equalled a 100-year-old club record. The 1-1 draw against the crisis club meant the Scottish table-toppers have gone unbeaten in 62 home matches on the bounce, boasting the same number as the legendary Celtic side coached by Willie Maley in 1917.
Leigh Griffiths put Celtic in front shortly before half-time, but Jordan Jones levelles the scores on the hour mark. Celtic coach Brendan Rodgers handed a number of regulars, including captain Scott Brown, a breather.
