FC Bayern are the first club to pass the 3,000-point mark in the all-time Bundesliga table. Saturday's 3-0 victory over FC Augsburg takes the German record champions onto 3,001 points from 1,784 matches, far ahead of Borussia Dortmund on 2,314 points and Werder Bremen (2,285 points).
Jupp Heynckes, Joshua Kimmich and Robert Lewandowski too passed historic milestones on Saturday.
- Heynckes now boasts a total of 500 Bundesliga victories, winning 174 matches as a player and 326 as a coach. The Bayern head coach needed 1,016 matches to achieve this landmark. Heynckes tops the overall standings, followed by Otto Rehhagel on 457 and Felix Magath on 391 victories.
- Heynckes also equalled a personal best mark. He has gone unbeaten in 30 Bundesliga matches (26 victories, four draws). He previously achieved this feat between January 2007 and February 2010, coaching Gladbach, Bayern and Leverkusen. Only Jürgen Klopp on 31 matches without defeat and Ernst Happel (36) boast longer streaks.
- Kimmich won his 50th Bundesliga match on Saturday. He needed only 62 matches for this mark, less than any other player. He passed the record set by Andreas Ottl and Sven Bender, who needed 71 matches each.
- Lewandowski scored in his sixth consecutive Bundesliga home match. Only one Bavarian achieved this before, Gerd Müller in the 1972/73 season. A goal in Bayern's next home match against Hannover on 2 December would make Lewandowski the sole record holder.
