Uli Hoeneß watched FC Bayern win at VfB Stuttgart at the stadium but the FC Bayern president shared the joy of the dramatic 1-0 victory in Swabia with fans in the evening. With his visit to the Schießamer Red-White Dynamite '96 e.V., Hoeneß completed the Bayern Christmas visits to fan clubs on Saturday night. 450 fans, accompanied by a traditional Bavarian band, provided a wonderful reception for the president of Germany's record champions and there was a buoyant mood after a successful end to the first half of the Bundesliga campaign. "We've rarely had such a peaceful festive period as this year," said Hoeneß. Bayern players had already visited a lot of fan clubs by second advent.

Extra shift for Alaba

Jupp Heynckes cancelled the training session planned for Sunday but David Alaba spent the morning at Säbener Straße. Together with assistant coach Peter Herrman, the Austria international worked on dribbling and crosses. The extra shift was performed in wintry weather but Alaba was full of energy: The 25-year-old only came on in the closing minutes in the away win at Stuttgart.
