Kingsley Coman sustained a capsular injury to his left ankle in the Bundesliga home match against Hertha Berlin. The winger sustained the injury in a tackle against a defender a few minutes after coming on midway through the second half. "He sustained an injury to his ankle. He rolled his ankle, it has to do with his capsule. He has big problems but his ligaments are okay. We'll have to see how it develops over the next few days," commented coach Jupp Heynckes after the match.

Milestones for Ulreich and Lewandowski

The home game against Hertha Berlin was a milestone match for Sven Ulreich and Robert Lewandowski. Ulreich made his 200th Bundesliga appearance against the men from the capital, whereas Lewandowski made his 250th appearance in the German top flight.
