Nations League opener at the Allianz Arena
The Allianz Arena will be the venue of an international match on 6 September. Germany will contest their first match after the World Cup against France in Munich. The match will be the opening fixture of the new Nations League. "Following the World Cup, our big goal will be the acceptance of our bid to host the EURO 2024 at the end of September. The home match in Munich is one more chance to stress just how much Germany loves football and how we are up to the task of hosting an international celebration of football once again," said Reinhard Grindel, president of the German FA (DFB).
