FC Bayern achieved a good result on Tuesday evening, but two Bavarians sustained knocks. Arturo Vidal had taken a breather against Dortmund with a knee problem. The Warrior returned against Sevilla but had to be replaced after only 35 minutes. Juan Bernat too had to be replaced. The Spaniard sustained a deep gash above his ankle, Rafinha taking over at half-time.

Winner Müller

Thomas Müller and his team-mates celebrated the first victory of a German side in Seville, but the Bayern captain also reached a milestone on Tuesday. Müller left the pitch as winner for the 65th time after his 96th Champions League match, equalling the club record set by Philipp Lahm. Nobody boasts more victories with FC Bayern in Europe's premier club competition.
