Kingsley Coman made his comebeack in the DFB Cup final in Berlin almost exactly three months after his last match. The Frenchman was subbed on in the 70th minute. Coman had sustained a syndesmosis ligament tear in the match against Berlin on 24 February.
Lewandowski DFB Cup top scorer
Robert Lewandowski finished top scorer in a DFB Cup campaign for the third time on Saturday. His equaliser in the final against Frankfurt was his fifth goal in the competition. The Bundesliga top scorer, who was the most prolific DFB Cup scorer in 2016/17 and 2011/12, drew equal with Gerd Müller. Only Hannes Löhr on four times boasts more.
