Jérôme Boateng is back on the ball. The central defender, who has recently been struggling with a thigh problem, took part in the Germany squad's morning training session in South Tyrol, completing individual passing drills with assistant coach Miroslav Klose, as well as fitness coaches Shad Forsythe and Darcy Norman. The 29-year-old had already been working hard on his fitness for the last few days in Eppan, and is now able to concentrate on his ball skills. Coaching assistant Thomas Schneider had already announced at the recent DFB press conference that Boateng would possibly be back in training this week, if everything went according to plan.

Special training session for Müller

Thomas Müller, along with Germany team-mate Matthias Ginter, experienced quite a change from the usual tough training workouts in Tyrol at lunchtime on Thursday. He met two players from the Germany blind football team in the Sportzone Rungg in Eppan, who gave the Bayern captain a short demonstration of the game.
