Berni in the USA
In preparation for this year’s Audi Summer Tour, Berni has already travelled to Miami and Philadelphia in the United States. Arriving there, he met a lot of Bayern fans as well as mascots from Manchester City, Juventus, Miami Dolphins, Miami Marlins and Miami Heat. Together they visited the various sporting venues of the American teams and also pose with the championship Shield, the Scudetto and the Super Bowl.
World Cup public viewings in the USA and China
Germany against Mexico was the opening match in Group F at the 2018 World Cup. For that reason there were big public viewing events both in Miami and Mexico City where over 1,000 fans of both teams took part together as part of the FC Bayern Community.
Public viewing events were also organised in Beijing and Shanghai for Germany's three group stage matches in cooperation with the Bundesliga. The 1,000 visitors also included Berni with the Championship Shield.
