Working up a sweat near the idyllic Tegernsee! FC Bayern will complete an eight-day training camp in Rottach-Egern from 2 to 9 August. After the Audi Summer Tour to the US (23 to 30 July) Bayern will be looking to lay the foundations for success in all three competions in Bavaria. A friendly against Manchester United at the Allianz Arena on 5 August (kick-off at 20.15 CEST) will be part of the programme.
The training camp near the Tegernsee has a long tradition at FC Bayern. The German record champions prepared there in the past. Niko Kovac knows the excellent conditions in Rottach-Egern from his time as an active Bayern pro. The last coach to use the great atmosphere in the idyllic Alps to prepare his team was Felix Magath in 2006.
