Bayern start off second week of pre-season
After a day off the Bayern pros started the second week of pre-season training on Monday. Niko Kovac and his men cycled through Perlacher Forest before the outfield players worked in the performance centre. Sven Ulreich and his fellow netminders completed a goalkeeping session on the training ground before the lunch break.
The focus was on tactics and the ball in the afternoon. The team worked out on the freshly-laid pitch number one for the first time. After the warm-up, Arjen Robben & Co completed rondo drills, starting with four against one, followed by six against two.

The players then completed a practice match under the coaches' auspices, playing on one half of the pitch, using goals made of cones. Niko Kovac gave instructions, pushed his men on or interrupted the action to give feedback. The session concluded with a full-pitch match.
Niko Kovac has scheduled ten sessions until Saturday, including a public session on Wednesday morning. The fans can watch it live on FC Bayern.tv from around 11.15 CEST. The next day off will only be on Sunday.
