Congratulations, Coco! France clinched their second World Cup on Sunday, beating Croatia 4-2 in the final. The Croats were the more active team over long spells, but France were very effective and had a bit of luck.
The Equipe Tricolore took the lead after 17 minutes, when Mario Mandzukic put through his own goal. Ivan Perisic levelled the scores before the half-hour mark, but Antoine Griezmann converted a debatable penalty before half-time. Croatia enjoyed a spell in command after the break, but Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappé netted for Les Bleus around the hour mark. Mandzukic pulled one back midway through the second half, but further goals refused to come.
Tolisso came on after 72 minutes in the final. After numerous Bayern pros won the World Cup with Germany in 2014, the 23-year-old midfielder is the next reigining world champion wearing FC Bayern colours. Congratulations!
