Juan Bernat (25) has left FC Bayern München to join Paris Saint-Germain. The seven-time Spain international signed a three-year contract in the French capital on Friday.
"Juan Bernat requested permission to be released from his contract and accept the offer from Paris Saint-Germain. We granted this request and also reached agreement with PSG in very constructive talks," commented FCB sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic. "Juan has always been a model pro and played a major role in the eight trophies we won with him at the club. We wish him and his family all the very best in Paris.“
After joining Bayern from Valencia in 2014, Bernat scored five goals and provided ten assists in 113 appearances over four years for the German record champions. The defender won four Bundesliga titles, the DFB Cup once and the DFL Supercup three times.
